And The Winners Are…
Queens Chamber Of Commerce 2002 Building Awards

Eight new buildings, eight rehabilitated buildings and one interior were honored as the Queens Chamber of Commerce recognized the winners of the Chamber’s Annual Building Awards competition.

The winners were acknowledged at the Chamber’s 90th Annual Dinner, sponsored by HSBC Bank USA, at Terrace on the Park on Dec. 4.

Sixteen structures and one interior were recognized for promoting excellence in design and contributing to the betterment of the community. The Queens Chamber started the tradition in 1926 and has continued it over the years.

George Rozansky, president of the Chamber, said that “each of these buildings contributes something special to their community which helps to make Queens a better place to work, live and do business.”

Viscaya Towers on Queens Boulevard won an award for Multi-Family High Rise in the Rehabilitations category.

Sanford Towers – The Queens Chamber’s pick for Multi-Family High Rise in the New Construction category.

This Bell Boulevard building was a winner for Health-Related Facility in the New Construction category.

Prince Center in Flushing received an award for Commercial/Office Building in the New Construction category.
