Tammie’s heart is in the hip-hop industry, and in that world she goes by the stage name of Mizzaigon. She’s a multi-talented woman who you'll be hearing lots more about.

She hosted the cable access show Video City, where she devoted her time to the underground scene and unsigned rappers. For a while she appeared as a dancer, bumping and grinding on MTV Jams and several music videos.

As a model, Tammie has worked with hip-hop fashion designers. She also made it to the cover of an album for raunchy Queens rapper Akinyele.

But, these days she’s busy cutting a rap demo. She busted out some of her own lyrics about life in Far Rockaway and the basketball courts by the boardwalk for QConfidential. "I really have a heavy voice for a woman. I have a better rapping voice," Tammie admits.

And Tammie is ready to play host again on an upcoming cable access show called Hip-Hop Politics. "I have a lot of things to talk about," Tammie said. Besides having a slew of guests from the industry, the show even brings to light the murky aspects of the business such as the sleeping around — "So people know more of what’s going."

The Mizzaigon in Tammie is a social butterfly that loves to go to industry parties and attract people with her positive energy. As a result, she got to meet some celebs like P. Diddy and Queens rapper LL Cool J.

Tammie attended Far Rockaway High School, Francis Lewis High School, and IS 53.

Far Rockaway is now just too far for Tammie because much of her business draws her to Manhattan, but she does enjoy the tranquility of it. Over the summer she says, "I was at the beach every other day," but added, "I’m scared of the water."

Tammie has three kids, ages 10, seven, and three. The oldest and the youngest are girls that can rap, while her little son can dance. Who knows, there might be a little hip-hop Partridge Family in the making.

It looks like Tinseltown has once again turned to Queens to provide the setting of a show that hopes to take the nation’s small screen by storm.

QConf hears that Julia Roberts’ production company, Shoelace Productions, is involved in the early phases of production on "Queens Supreme, " a television "dramedy" that is set inside a Queens courtroom.

Regency Television, the company planning to market the show to CBS, has high hopes for the project and their senior vice president for Drama, Maggie Murphy, recently boasted in published reports that the project aims "to do for legal drama what ‘M*A*S*H’ did for medical drama."

But don’t be too judgmental if you don’t see the show on the boob tube any time soon.

A rep at Shoelace told QConf that "Queens Supreme" is in the "earliest phase," of production and no airdate had been set as of yet.

Some people love walking. Some people love hoola hooping. Some people love to do both. At the same time. For five miles. In Cambodia.

The king of the Guinness Book of World Records, Jamaica native Ashrita Furman sure does. He was at it again this past December, setting his 71st world record, this time hoola hooping overseas.

The athletic Queensite walked for five miles on the plains of Cambodia while hoola hooping, never letting the hoop fall once. "It wasn’t easy," he told QConf. "But it was really fun."

Furman said, "I called up the Guinness book and told them, hey, this would be a great record. It’s fun and difficult. They told me if I was able to do it for anything more than one mile, they would count it. So I did."

Why Cambodia? "I like to go to exotic places to set records," he said. "I thought Cambodia would be a good place. How many times do you hear about good things coming out of Cambodia? This was my chance to create something good."

Furman, who called QConf from a vacation in Brunei, holds a variety of interesting records, including pogo-sticking underwater, unicycling backwards, yodeling, hop scotching and balancing glasses on his chin. Dubbed "Mr. Versatility" by the Guinness Book, Furman also holds the record for most Guinness world records.

While leisurely conducting an internet search on District 28 City Councilman Allan Jennings, we discovered that the politician shares a name with a well-known and gay porn star.

Both men spell their names the same way and are in the public arena — in slightly different capacities. Allan Jennings the porn star has performed in dozens of erotic movies, including many titles that cannot be repeated here. Allan Jennings the politician has given dozens of speeches and held dozens of fundraisers leading up to his unlikely November election.

After searching a bit more, the Conf scribe couldn’t find a photo of Jennings the porn star. Could it be these two men are the same person? Could this be a case of, "I was young. I needed the money"? According to a member of Allan Jennings’ City Hall office, "Absolutely, positively, for certain, no way on this Earth. No way, no way, no way."

Hmmm! Does the Councilman have any secrets he’s hiding?

It looks like the band that took the rock world by storm in the 1970s may end their long and legendary career in the same place it began – right here in Queens.

According to the website kissdominion.com, the band KISS plans to play their farewell concert at Shea Stadium sometime in the near future.

Although an official date has not been announced, the site said that bass player Gene Simmons –born Chiam Witz in Jackson Heights in 1951 – is ready to hang up his platform heels.

"Imagine walking around on stage with 60 pounds of weight in studs and armor and leather and so on. Doing that for two hours it’s physically exhausting, very demanding," Simmons said.

According to borough folklore, KISS played their first gig at a place called the Coventry Club on Queens Boulevard in 1973 under the name "Wicked Lester," — rumor has it that the band later changed their moniker to a shortened version of their favorite hang-out spot of Kissena Boulevard.

KISS began when Simmons met Paul Eisen, (Paul Stanley), a guitar player/singer from Flushing.

The two met while Stanley was looking to start a band to get out of working at his father’s Queens Boulevard furniture store and Simmons was working as a New York City Public School teacher.
