A Diner With Latin Flavor

Cuco Lindo

Cuisine: Diner and Hispanic

Think of Cuco Lindo as a diner with a twist of a Latin flavor as represented by the Latin music that entertains guests and Latin dishes on the menu.

Along with Latin style dishes, Cuco Lindo’s menu includes typical breakfast items like pancakes and eggs and lunch items like the fried chicken dinner, spaghetti, corned beef and Cuban sandwich.

For breakfast, I tried the three buttermilk pancakes with sausages and an omelette.

It was a different experience from having the same items at other diners. Firstly and very importantly, Cuco Lindo was not stingy with its syrup which was served in a filled-to-the-brim jar.

This meant that there was more than enough for three pancakes, allowing me to use syrup to my heart’s content.

The second reason why the meal was better than is usually the case is that the sausages were not too salty. For some reason, sausages are usually too salty at diners.

The fact that Cuco Lindo got it just right earns them extra credit.

Adding to the comfort of abundant syrup, the staff was very courteous and friendly, making Cuco Lindo a good choice in area dining.
