This large and well laid out food court is a great place to have a freshly prepared meal of your choice from almost any cuisine. Grab a breakfast bite on your way to convenient public transportation or take home a snack when you return. Its also a great place for lunch. This convenient food hall is provided as a non-profit operation of the Greater Jamaica Development Corporation. You can enjoy your choice of food stuffs in the open dining area in the middle of the court where there are clean tables and comfortable chairs. You can also rent the Harvest Room for celebrations and have it catered by Farmers Market vendors.

One of the biggest noontime attractions is Good Taste Wok with an amazing list of 48 daily oriental specials ranging from Chicken Chow Mein ($4.25) to Spicy Mala Beef. American dishes include 1/2 Fried Chicken ($3) and Fried Pork Chops 2 for $3.25). They also feature health dishes (no oil, low calorie) served with brown rice or white and diet dishes of steamed combinations. House specialties include Szechuan style shrimp ($8.95) as well as Happy Family ($9.50). All meals can be prepared "to go", "pick up" (call 739-2232) or free local delivery ($8 minimum).

If you prefer a Japanese lunch, stop at Tokyo and eat Hibachi cooked meat, fish or vegetables along with lots of rice. Reasonably priced at $3.75 to $5.95.

Thirsty? Visit Let’s Get Juiced where there are smoothies- shakes with fruits and vegetables all liquefied for your pleasure.

Try the Salad Bar for all your favorites sold by the pound. Enjoy a fresh green mix, pasta, three-bean, potato salad or the cole slaw etc.

At Jasmine’s Sugar & Spice have Caribbean specialties from meat or vegetable Patties ($1) to Jerk Chicken ($4.50) or have curry dishes. Side dishes include Calialoo (Trini-style Creole soup). Their specialty cakes include Rum Cake, Sugar Cake and other favorites.

Then there is Chicken Perfect, T. J. Southern Express, Los Rancheros and Capri’s Pizza with selections as named.

Zizo’s Cafi, one of the long standing vendors at the market, always offers hearty prepared-to-order sandwiches as well as other deli delights.

Besides the food stalls, other vendors make it easy for lunch/dinner shoppers to buy gift items such as handsome hats, African apparel or fresh fruits, flowers or vegetables. Enjoy a visit where everything is available for your eating and shopping enjoyment.
