They may be a little shop, but when looking for Caribbean-style desserts and pastries for your next event, one Southeast Queens bakery is big on the list of places to check out.

There is no food served at Le Bon Pain, but you can find the best appetizers and desserts for office events and parties.

Try the appetizing beef patties at Le Bon Pain which offers a dozen for only $6.

Only need one?

Well, that will cost you 60 cents.

The beef patties are not yellow in color from curry, like patties from the Caribbean island of Jamaica.

Insteasd, Le Bon Pain patties are flaky, like a country biscuit, filled with lightly seasoned meat. (P.S.-there’s no coco bread needed with this patty.)

Also available is fish pie and chicken pie, similar to an American pot pie but tastier and hearty with meat as the main ingredient.

These pies are a meal by themselves.

And at Le Bon Pain, don’t forget the dessert.

They offer various cakes, but as of now, I can only comment on the carrot cake. I had not had carrot cake in years, and this was a sweet retreat.

The light cake, surrounded by rich creamy frosting, topped with little carrots is the ultimate dessert.

A small cake can serve at least a party of 10 and is priced at a mere $5.

Bon apetit!
