Although you may not see Mama Maria when you enter Mama Maria’s Pizzeria Restaurant, the taste of her homeland of Italy remains constant in Springfield Gardens

Start with your choice of soup or salad.

Add cold antipasto or mozzarella sticks as an appetizer, then choose from pasta or main dishes and what do you have?  An Italian dinner.

Conviently located inside the Pathmark Plaza, Mama Maria’s contends with any Italian restaurant with its full menu of freshly prepared dishes and crunchy thin crust pizza that make you forget about those other pizza companies.

Enjoy broccoli sautéed in oil and garlic with your choice of spaghetti, fettuccini, rigatoni, penne, or linguini and do not forget Mama’s zesty marinara, a la vodka or pesto cream sauce with sun dried tomatoes.

Baked ziti with garlic knots is one of my favorite choices when I come to the Italian eatery, while the chicken cutlet hero is the last, but not least when I indulge in a hearty meal accompanied with a domestic or imported beer.

For a price of $20 or less, any pizza pie, dish, dessert or side can be purchased and is often made to order.

Call ahead allowing your meal to be ready at pick up, or ask for a delivery.

A quick lunch or a hot meal, any way you put it, it’s time to mangia!
