"I didn’t want to change the menu at all," he said. "I wanted to keep the old customers who enjoyed old Avenita, but I also wanted to add some Latin dishes to the menu," he said.

As a result, New Avenita has created cuisine everyone can enjoy.

The restaurant is family oriented with nine booths able to accommodate four people easily.

For larger parties, there are two tables that can be converted to hold six people. For the restaurant’s single customers, stools are situated by the counter for their convenience.

The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner at any time – to accommodate your own personal internal clock.

However, if you are looking for a deal, Avenita’s breakfast specials are a sure-to-try.

Between the hours of 6 a.m. and 11 a.m., the restaurant has a special breakfast menu for early birds.

Customers can choose from a selection of griddle cakes, Belgian waffles, French toast, and egg dishes. Each meal averages less than $3 and includes hash browns and toast.

The lunch specials include regular burger meals starting at $3. A deluxe burger meal – which includes French fries, lettuce, tomato, cole slaw, and pickles – will run you an extra $1.50.

The weekend specials include meals ranging in price from $4.95 to $7.95. and include a mix of Greek and Hispanic dishes.

Grilled chicken, roast chicken, and broiled steak are all $5.95 and include a side order of rice and beans.

Gyro, pork, or chicken souvlaki platters will cost you $5.95. A Caesar salad with grilled chicken will cost the same.
