With all due respect to healthy eating, every now and then, one has to take a break and indulge. When you decide that time has rolled around, a place you might want to visit for some reward for your strict adherence to your diet and exercise regimen is Tsi’s Arts & Carafes Cafe in Jamaica.

Tsi’s is not all dessert. It has a cold specialties menu with salads like Caesar Salad with Romaine Salad,  Parmesan Cheese and Croutons with Grilled Chicken, Greek Salad, and a Chef’s Salad.

But as appetizing as these dishes may sound, you might as well forget about it. To get into Tsi’s dining room, you have to pass through an elaborate pastry display.

It is like a treasure chest of some of the most appetizing snacks—golden, shiny crusts with circles of fillings and different kinds of cakes. Tsi’s can even bake a cake with your picture on top.

Good luck with that diet!

Desserts that can be ordered in the dining area include Milkshakes, Ice Cream Sodas, Root Beer Floats, and Raspberry Freezes — Raspberry Sorbet whipped with Sprite to create a light and fruity shake.

Sundaes include Hot Fudge, with your choice of ice cream with a variety of toppings.

Tsi’s also has a breakfast menu that includes Creppes, Waffles, Pancakes, French Toast, Omelettes, Bagels and Rolls. It also serves grilled sandwiches and soup.

In addition to the desserts, Tsi’s offers a delicious display of art pieces by disabled artists. They are for sale to the public.

So just take one of those pieces of port

able exercise equipment they yell about in the infomercials and go have yourself a good time at Tsi’s Arts & Carafes. You deserve it.
